A NEW CHURCH
FOR A NEW GENERATION

At Salt & Light, we’re building more than a church service —
we’re cultivating a family where you can know God, grow in faith,
and walk out your purpose.

It Started With Conviction…

Salt & Light was born out of a dream —

Salt & Light Church began with a conviction — a vision to plant a church that wasn’t just about trends, religion, or routine, but about encountering Jesus and His Spirit in a real way. At Salt & Light, we put God and His presence at the center.

In a world filled with noise, burnout, and shallow connection, we felt God calling us to create a space where people could be seen, known, and transformed by the presence of God. Not just another Sunday service — a Spirit-filled family on mission to seek God.
From our earliest days meeting in a barn, we knew we weren’t building a crowd — we were building a community of faith hungry for God. A community marked by God's presence, authentic faith, bold worship, and a deep love for people.

We’re still just getting started — and we believe the best days are ahead.
We’re not trying to build a brand. We’re building a people who are genuinely hungry to know God.

At Salt & Light, we believe there's nothing more important—or more powerful—than seeking the face of God. That’s not just a phrase to us. It’s the reason we show up. It’s why we worship with passion, why we open the Bible with expectation, and why we pray like it matters—because it does.

We're a church that longs to be close to Jesus in the real, raw moments of life. Whether it’s in the middle of a worship set or a conversation in the lobby, we want His presence to shape everything. We're not chasing hype or performance. We’re after the real thing: His presence.

We are contending for another move of the Holy Spirit in our time by placing God and His presence at the center of everything we do.

Our Mission

Our Vision

Our mission is to live as salt & light.

Our vision is to be a city on a hill.

What We’re Built On: the four corners of our foundation

The Bible

The Bible is God’s living Word — true, trustworthy, and authoritative for every generation. Through Scripture, God reveals who He is, who we are, and how we are called to live. We treasure the Bible because it anchors our faith, shapes our lives, and leads us to Jesus.

Prayer

Prayer is where we meet with God, surrender our burdens, and align our hearts with His will. We believe prayer changes things — but even more, prayer changes us. As a church, we pray because we are dependent on God’s power, hungry for His presence, and confident that He hears His people.

Healing

We believe Jesus is still our Healer. Divine healing reminds us that God cares about the whole person — body, soul, and spirit — and that His power is present to restore, strengthen, and make whole. We pray with faith, trust His timing, and give glory to God for every healing, every breakthrough, and every grace He provides.

Praise & Worship

Praise and worship are our response to who God is and what He has done. When we lift our voices, we turn our attention from our circumstances to the greatness of Jesus. We worship because He is worthy, and as we do, our hearts are strengthened, our faith is stirred, and God is glorified.

Meet Our Founding Pastor

Luke Edgerton serves as the Lead Pastor of Salt & Light Christian Church and has spent the last 20 years in full-time ministry. He holds a Master’s Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Phoenix Seminary and carries a deep love for the Word of God, aiming to preach and teach Scripture with clarity, conviction, and humility.

Luke is passionately committed to Spirit-filled, Spirit-led ministry—longing to see the presence and gifts of the Holy Spirit active in the everyday life of the church. As a church planter at heart, he desires to see new gospel communities birthed, disciples made, and Jesus exalted locally and beyond.

Luke is married to Ashlee, and together they delight in raising their three children: Mila, Sia, and Maddox.

Our Setup: what we do

Sunday Gatherings

We come together on Sundays to worship with music, learn from the Bible, take communion, and pray for healing. It’s also when our kids’ ministry, called “Little Lights,” has fun and meaningful activities for babies through 5th grade.

Table Gatherings

Table Gatherings are small groups that meet during the week in people’s homes. We share a meal and make space to grow in our faith and learn more about following Jesus together.

Prayer Gatherings

These monthly prayer gatherings are an all-church call to prayer and a forum to train Christians to move out in the things of the Spirit.

Our Culture: how we show up

Jesus is at the center of everything we do. Our leaders help guide the church, our staff supports the mission, and everyone in the church has a part to play.

Word Centered

We focus on God’s Word and place strong importance on things like communion and baptism.

People Oriented

We’re a church that cares about people and loves spending time together. Building real friendships is a big part of who we are.

Spirit Filled & Spirit Led

We want to be a church that’s filled with the Holy Spirit and led by Him. We welcome His presence, His gifts, and His power in everything we do.
